Robyn "Indestructable" Video Premiere

The acoustic version of "Indestructable" was featured on Robyn's 2nd of three studio albums released this year, Body Talk Pt 2. She has again remixed an acoustic hit (as was done for "Hang With Me" off Body Talk Pt 1) and released an upbeat version for the 3rd and final album out this year- Body Talk Pt 3.

Static Revenger & Richard Vission ft. Luciana 'I Like That'

Other than the fact that he rocked it on his remix of Hilary Duff's "Reach Out (And Touch Me)", I don't know a lot by this Richard Vission guy.

He does very evidently use the same beat from Duff's "Reach Out" mix on his latest dance track "I Like That" featuring Static Revenger and Luciana. After being featured on MTV's "Jersey Shore" this song quickly transcended into one of the summer's best club hits. I think this Vission dude has a very Guetta-esque career ahead of him!

Mark Ronson & Boy George's "Somebody To Love Me" Video is Brilliant!

OMG, this new Mark Ronson video is a blast into Culture Club's past. With Boy George, Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt, and Scissor Sister's Jake Shears on vocals, the song is a surefire hit. The video is so interesting as it takes you through a time in Boy George's life back in the 80's. And, boy was he beautiful!

Kanye West is the man, guys. I seriously wish he had performed this at the VMA's instead of his stupid douche-bag song, LOL. This is easily the best Saturday Night Live performance I've ever seen.

Antony & the Johnsons "I'm In Love"

Antony Hegarty is the lead singer of Antony & the Johnsons. He won the highly coveted Mercury Prize for Best New Artist for his second studio album I Am A Bird Now. For those of you familiar with Florence + the Machine, she won the award this year!

Now many of you may have heard his super catchy song "Blind" on his side project Hercules & Love Affair. "Blind" ranked #2 on the 10 Best Singles of 2008 by Entertainment Weekly.

Antony also does an amazing cover of Beyonce's "Crazy In Love."

He has a new album coming out on October 11th called "Swanlights" and this is my personal favorite from it. It's called "Im In Love." There wasn't a music video for it yet, so I made one. Enjoy!

Young the Giant - My Body

These guys recently opened up for Marina & the Diamonds and in my opinion stole the show. It's not often an opening act moves me the way they were able to. 

There is something quite amazing about lead singer Sameer Gadhia's voice. I hear a lot of Brandon Flower's "Crossfire" in the song, and there's definitely a Kings of Leon and Roonie resemblance.

This song will not get out of my head! Ever since hearing it blasting on the club speakers last night, I've had the chorus subconsciously on repeat. Of the 9 remixes I've accumulated over the past months since this song's release, this one by Mike Morales aka DJ Kue is definitely the

MARINA AND THE DIAMONDS | SHAMPAIN

"Shampain" hands down was the best song at the Marina & the Diamonds show on September 9th at Lincoln Hall in Chicago.

To be honest I have never really given this song the attention it deserves. While endlessly playing my favorites "I am Not a Robot", "Mowgli's Road" and "Obsessions" for months, I had only once listened to "Shampain."

The energy Marina evokes while performing this song made it easily the greatest crowd pleaser. If you get the chance to see Marina, you have to go. She does not disappoint. And, I got the feeling I was watching a pre-Gaga Stefani Germanotta, which was quite neat.

Literally days after my concert-enduced love affair with this song, Marina released this excellent Michael Jackson "Thriller" themed video. Check it out below!

Found this gem last night at one of the gay bars in Boystown. How perfect, right? The video is a blast into the 90's past and has a very Aqua- "Barbie Girl" feel to it.

Lissie Covers Gaga

This happens to be the best cover of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" that I have heard. 

I have become quite the fan of Lissie ever since first hearing her raspy and beautiful voice on Morgan Page's "The Longest Road." The deadmau5 remix is quite nice!

Lissie is finally ready to journey out on her own as her debut album Catching a Tiger drops June 22nd.


But for now enjoy "Bad Romance" Lissie style!
