Interview With Diamond Rings on AfterElton.com June 21st

I had a wonderful time chatting with out pop sensation Diamond Rings today discussing everything from his recent tour opening for Swedish Sensation Robyn, our affinity towards new indie-act Austra, his most recent concert experience as an audience goer (It was Kylie Minogue!!!! I so wanna go see her now), and his recent signing with Astralwerks, where he's now being represented by the same record label as Kylie Minogue, Empire of the Sun, Phoenix, David Guetta, Pet Shop Boys, Brian Eno and Swedish House Mafia! 

What an honor and a compliment!

He's excited to be a part of a new wave of singers and entertainers who are starting their careers out of the closet from the get-go and are making a huge positive impression for our current younger generation.

His videos are all so fresh and entertaining and it's hard to believe that this larger than life voice is coming from this 25 year-old guy. I'm excited to find out what he's like.

San Francisco based DJs Gabriel & Dresden bring new life to this amazing Annie Lennox track. It's an oldie but felt it was worth a share if you weren't already acquainted. 

The Strokes "Machu Picchu"

I know I'm a few months late to chime in on this, but The Strokes latest album Angles is in fact as good as it has been acclaimed to be and this gem "Machu Piccu" is currently on repeat. UPDATE: It's not that good. This song is probably the best on it. I didn't even care for the lead single "Under Cover of Darkness" suprisingly. 

Ellie Goulding - "Your Song (Blackmill Dubstep Remix)"

Blackmill makes this song sooooo much better. I never really cared for the original to be honest, even though it has been Goulding's highest charting song to date. Finally like it now. 

Department of Eagles "Brightest Minds"

Easily reminded of how great this band is. Department of Eagles...checked them out yet?
